Christmas Gift Budget Worksheet
Built for a holiday shopper who wants to compare planned and actual cost one gift at a time. Small price differences are easy to ignore until several gifts together push the holiday total past the amount you meant to spend.
What is inside the free file
The workbook includes these working columns: Recipient, Gift, Planned cost, Actual cost, Difference, Purchased? and Notes. The example rows are part of the download, so you can see what belongs in each field before replacing them with your own information.
Use it for a real planning session
Set a planned amount before shopping, then enter the actual price including the cost you truly paid. The Difference column calculates planned minus actual for each row, so a negative result shows the gift exceeded its plan. Mark purchases and use Notes for coupons, returns or a price that may still change.
The sample compares planned and actual prices for garden gloves, coffee, art supplies, a photo calendar and a family game, including unpurchased items with no actual cost yet.
When the paid workbook helps
The $7 tracker rolls all gifts into person-level and household totals and flags every recipient whose combined gifts exceed the budget. The free file remains useful on its own; upgrade only when the connected totals or the broader plan will save you manual work.
Price, delivery and refunds
The paid workbook costs $7 as a one-time purchase. After successful payment, the ZIP is available for immediate download. It works in Excel and Google Sheets. You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days after purchase, including after downloading or opening the file. Email help@bshbb.com with your order number; the full approved amount returns to the original payment method, subject to your bank’s timing. Verified delivery failures and duplicate charges are reviewed after seven days.
