Christmas Wish List Template
Download the free sheetWhen a child or relative says “I would like something creative,” the gift buyer still has questions. Which activity, which size, and is there a particular item they have in mind? This Christmas wish list gives the person receiving a gift space to explain their interests without turning every idea into an expectation.
Collect ideas in the recipient’s own words
The sheet includes prompts for something to read, wear, make and experience, plus one special wish. For each idea there is room for a size or colour, a link or shop, and a short explanation of why it appeals. The name line keeps several family members’ lists easy to distinguish. The reminder at the top makes clear that a wish is an idea, not a promise to buy.
Let the person complete as much as they know. A book genre can be useful even without a product link. An experience may need a date or location rather than a clothing size. If the list is for a younger child, an adult can help write the details without deciding all the wishes for them.
Print a clean copy or fill it in together
The free download is a single editable XLSX sheet with five prompts and blank answer spaces. Print in landscape with one-page scaling, or fill the cells in your spreadsheet app. It contains no shop recommendations or made-up prices. You can share the completed list with the people who are choosing gifts.
Keep the buyer’s decisions separate
A recipient’s wishes do not tell the buyer what has already been ordered or how much remains to spend. The existing $7 Christmas Gift List & Budget Tracker is the buyer’s companion: transfer selected ideas into gift rows, set the budget, enter actual costs and update buying progress. Keep that organizer copy private so gift decisions remain a surprise.
